Happy New Year, what’s in store?

The last few years have been testing for me at a personal level. I was hoping 2005 would not be the same but 5 days into the year I don’t have much to be happy about.

Regardless, prior to the holidays and being sick I did start eating better and working on getting fit…I mean i had just started. I am not the biggest loser.

I don’t make resolutions, but I do plan to continue to the path of well being and working on physical, mental and spritual health. No I’m not starting a cult, but there are too many little things that create stress in life and I want those things to not be stressful.

I plan on doing some minor mods to my new ride, nothing major as the reason I sold the Audi was to save money. However it is my car and I want to be hapy while driving it. I got to test it on the snow and ice yesterday, had some traction trouble but I blame that on me, the ice and the fact that the car is pretty light. I also need to move the rear wheels to the front as they seem to have more tread depth.

I am still looking into other software options for this site. while I cannot be considered a true blogger since I only post when I feel like it I blame some of that on this interface and the time it takes to make everything work. I am also very cheap and don’t want to spend $200 on Expression Engine. I am thinking about trying Mambo, but it may not be good enough for me. Other options are available but I want to blog, photoblog and have a better movie database. I would like to do something to the extent of listing the movies I see with my own personal review and link to sites like Amazon or something like that. We’ll see.

I certainly hope that after the recent tragedies from the Tsunami and continued violence in the middle east people can take a step back and see how important it is to live your life in a way that makes you happy and fulfilled because you never know when your number is up.
