My Review
I always hate to start off so negative, but how the hell does Ben Affleck keep getting work? I know he and Matt Damon are often the butt of many jokes, but this time I am not joking. His role as Jack Ryan was terrible. He is 30 years old and is acting like he’s 16 in the film. Also, Ben is NOT, I REPEAT NOT an action star. Where the fuck did anyone in Hollywood get the idea this guy is an action star? Don’t make me bring up Reindeer Games.

I will have to say in terms of Tom Clancy books turned into films this was the worse. I’m glad back in 2002 I chose to see the Bourne Identity instead of this film. Was the lesser of two evils.

All I can say is that I wish today was a postal day so that I could get this horrible movie out of my possession and back to Netflix.

My recommendation, don;t even spend the money to rent this film. If it ends up on TV late at night and you are wasted, then it’s probably worth your time as you will just pass out and that’s what’s best for you when you’re wasted anyway.
